엄마수술경과

오늘 새벽에 엄마/할머니 모시고 3개월 전 했던 대로 병원에 들어가 다시 종양제거수술을 했어. 의사가 빨리 나왔길래 물어보니 지난 번 보다 훨씬 작아 제거가 빨랐다고 하네. 그리고 다음 번 확인/수술은 3개월이 아니라 4개월 후 로 해도 좋겠다고 하니 좋은 소식이지. 지난 번 제거 때는 아무렇지도 않다고 하셨는데 이번엔 좀 많이 아프다고 하시네. Percocet을 두 알 드셨으니 조금 있으면 진통이 되겠지. 지금 회복실에 계시는데 같이 옆에 앉아 이 글을 쓰는 중이지. 엄마가 내가 랩탑을 두드리고 있는 걸 보더니 "너, 지금 컴퓨터 갖고 노는 거냐? 아니면 일 하는 거냐?"하기에 "일 해요. 식구들에게 수술경과를 알리려는 중이예요." 했더니 "그거 도깨비상자구나."하셔. 식구들에게 뭐 할 말이 있으시냐고 여쭈니 "깨소금이나 잘 볶으라고 해라."하시네. 아마 며칠 전 신혼여행에서 돌아온 동희내외에게 하는 말 인가 싶네. :-) 회복이 빨리 되시게 온 가족 쉬지말고 간구하시길. 아버지건강을 위해서도. 그럼.


Guys, I've taken grandma to SRMC early this morning to have a cystoscopy. This was a third one after the second one done 3 months ago. This time, the doctor came out much faster than he did last time. He said the tumor was much smaller this time and didn't have to spend much time and that he will schedule the next cystoscopy within 4 month instead of 3. This is a good news. She feels more pain than she did 3 months ago and took 2 percocets. Hope it will kick in few minutes. She is in recovery room and I am writing this email sitting right beside her. She saw me using this laptop and asked, "Are you playing or working with it?" I said "Working, writing an entry on my blog to give our family members update on you.". She reponded, "It's a crazy magic box!" Then I asked her, "Do you want to say something to the whole family?". She said "Ask them to keep cooking sesame seeds on the hot griddle !" I am sure that she was referring to DongHee and JungYoon who just came back from their honeymoon. Please remember her recovery and grandpa in your prayers. So long!
