어쩌다 마주치게 된 곡

브라질에서 시작되어 이제는 재즈의 한 장르로 불린다는 Bossa nova.

어떤 종류의 음악일까 궁금한 마음으로 유툽검색을 하다가 이 리듬의 생성초기에 클래식기타를 가지고 연주하기 시작한 몇 안되는 대가들 중 한 사람이라는 Antonio Carlos Jobim의 연주들을 들어볼 수 있었다. 근데 그이의 곡을 조금 더 뒤져보다가 다음의 곡이 보였다. What a pleasant surprise!

이제서 프랭크시나트라의 유명했던 이 네 곡이 보사노바라는 걸 새삼 알게되었다는. 리듬이 같아서인지 연달아 부르는 곡들이 내겐 거의 비슷하게 들리는데 가사를 들어보니 다른 곡이다. 감미로운 가사들이 가슴에 와 닿아 적어본다.
